FISHTOWN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION RECEIVES GRANT FROM HYPERION BANK COMMUNITY CHEST FUND

The Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is proud to announce a $500.00 Grant has been awarded to the Fishtown Athletic Association. The Grant, will help fund the Association's sports programs for local youth. Accepting the Grant for the Fishtown Athletic Association, President Dave Dougherty said, "Our sports programming for basketball, soccer, baseball and softball along with summer wiffle ball camp, supports approximately 1,000 neighborhood children from ages two to nineteen. We are a volunteer run organization and we rely upon contributions from local businesses to support our mission". Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund, president, Suzanne Salsbury-Mooney stated, "Community banking is all about partnering with parents, children and great organizations like the Fishtown AA. Together we are making a difference in the communities that we serve".

Established by Hyperion Bank in 2009, the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is a non-profit Pennsylvania 501 (c) (3) Corporation which endeavors to support projects that improve our local community for the benefit of its residents and provide educational materials and program support for neighborhood schools and educational programs offered by local groups within the Bank's service area (defined as Fishtown, Old Kensington and Northern Liberties). The Community Chest Fund accepts tax deductible donations throughout the year.
