The Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is proud to announce its support of the CAFÉ, Community Arts Festival with a $500 grant to InLiquid.

InLiquid serves artists, audiences and the community as a 501(c )(3) nonprofit membership organization that promotes and expands knowledge of visual culture as both an online and venue-based presenter of art exhibitions and events. Partnering with Crane Arts, InLiquid's CAFÉ which took place on October 16, 2011 is a family-friendly community arts and environmental education festival for all ages. "Expanding the impact of our programs in our community means the financial support of our sponsors is more crucial than ever. Proceeds from the CAFÉ event provide art supplies for art educational programs at Cruz Recreation Center and schools in the new ArtsRising School Zones", said Rachel Zimmerman, Executive Director of InLiquid.

Suzanne Mooney, President and CEO of the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund stated, "We are delighted to partner with InLiquid again this year to help raise funds to provide art supplies to local youth programs. The CAFÉ event perfectly meets the Fund's criteria in supporting educational events and materials for our neighborhood children".

Established in 2009 by Hyperion Bank, 2nd & Girard, in the city's Northern Liberties area, the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is a nonprofit Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) Corporation which endeavors to support projects that improve our local community for the benefit of its residents and provide educational materials and program support for neighborhood schools and educational programs offered by local groups within the Bank's service area (defined as Fishtown, Old Kensington and Northern Liberties). The Community Chest Fund accepts tax deductible donations throughout the year.
