HYPERION BANK COMMUNITY CHEST FUND SUPPORTS 26th POLICE DISTRICT'S 2011 SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE

The Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is proud to announce its support of the 26th Police District's Back to School Drive, providing much needed school supplies for local children.

Presenting the supplies on behalf of the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund, Nina DeCosta, a Director with the Fund stated, "We are delighted to partner with the 26th Police District who consistently do so many wonderful things to make a difference for our local community. This drive fits perfectly with the goals of the Community Chest Fund in supporting our neighborhood schools."

"We could never accomplish so large a collection of school supplies without the generosity and support of a local organization like the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund," stated Community Relations Officer for the 26th District, Annamae Law-Whitehead who coordinates the drive each year.

Established by Hyperion Bank in 2009, the Hyperion Bank Community Chest Fund is a non-profit Pennsylvania 501 (c) (3) Corporation which endeavors to support projects that improve our local community for the benefit of its residents and provide educational materials and program support for neighborhood schools and educational programs offered by local groups within the Bank's service area (defined as Fishtown, Old Kensington and Northern Liberties). The Community Chest Fund accepts tax deductible donations throughout the year.
