How to Delete Your Online Banking Profile

At Hyperion Bank, we prioritize your privacy and give you full control over your digital footprint. If you no longer wish to use the Hyperion Bank Mobile App mobile application, you can request the deletion of your online banking profile and associated data by following the steps below.
Steps to Request Account Deletion

To initiate the removal of your online banking profile, please use one of the following methods:

  • In-App Request: 1. Log into the Hyperion Bank Mobile App. 2. Navigate to the Settings or Profile menu. 3. Select Security and then click on Request Account Deletion. 4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.
  • Direct Support: If you are unable to access the app, you may contact our Customer Service professionals at 215-789-4200 or visit us in person at any branch location to verify your identity and request profile removal.

What Data is Deleted?

Once your request is processed, the following information is permanently removed from the Alkami online banking system:

  • Online banking login credentials (username and password).
  • Personalized app settings and preferences.
  • Biometric enrollment data (e.g., FaceID or Fingerprint links).
  • Any synced third-party account aggregations within the app.

What Data is Retained?

To comply with federal financial regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act, Hyperion Bank is legally required to retain certain information. Deleting your online banking profile does not delete your underlying financial accounts (such as checking, savings, or loans) or your history with the institution. We will retain:

  • Transactional History: Records of transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Identity Verification: Information required for regulatory "Know Your Customer" (KYC) compliance.
  • Tax Documentation: Official records related to interest earned or paid.

Retention Period

In accordance with standard financial record-keeping laws, retained data is generally stored for a period of two years from the date of the transaction or the closing of the underlying financial account. After this mandatory retention period, your data is securely destroyed according to our data disposal policy.

Note: Deleting your online banking profile will result in the immediate loss of access to eStatements and mobile bill pay. We recommend downloading any necessary statements before submitting your request.
