Lou DeCesare has delivered commercial banking services at community banks throughout the greater Philadelphia region for more than 30 years. In his long executive career, Lou has led relationship management teams that support new and established business owners, and consumers, by providing personalized financing, as well as deposit and cash management services. Lou draws upon his extensive banking experience to be creative in customizing bank products and services to meet the individual needs of Hyperion Bank customers.
“I believe community banks are one of the key cornerstones to the success of our communities. Community banks are more knowledgeable about the needs of the consumers and businesses that make up our communities and are therefore more helpful in making these communities thrive," says Lou.
Lou joined Hyperion Bank in 2013, gladly returning to his roots in the neighborhood, as he was born on Girard Avenue. Raised in Northeast Philadelphia and Lower Moreland, Lou stayed local to earn both his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and his M.B.A. from LaSalle University. Lou and his wife raised two sons and are active in community organizations.
An avid Philadelphia pro sports fan, Lou also served as an AAU basketball coach for many years, travelling the East Coast with his sons' basketball teams.
"Hyperion Bank is located in a building that began as a bank serving the River Wards in 1871. Today we continue that legacy with a commitment to serve the needs of all our customers, from our local neighbors to the broader region. I am proud to be a part of Hyperion Bank and the Philadelphia community.” -- Lou DeCesare
